| Details | ▶ Introduction : Muller Martini Automatic Saddle Stitcher Primera C130 The dominant leader of print finishing, Muller Martini (Switzerland) supplied the world-best Saddle Stitcher, Primera C130, which is called the next generation in saddle stitching. With the Ergonomic design and Optimized automation, we warrant rapid and concise production. Variable loading for all signature types assure higher flexibility and the visible window can lead the operator to check the procedure of stitching precisely coming with utmost quality of products. Especially, the Automatic Signature Image Recognition (ASIR) system inspects the signature and printing error on the progress of stitching, it assures more precise quality control. Remarkable Majorities ▶ Ergonomic operating concept The operating concept of the Primera 130 was created in accordance with the most recent ergonomic guidelines. The local operating units and the central touchscreen operation provide a high level of comfort. The operation is very conveniently arranged and simply structured. This means the Primera 130 can be changed over quickly and in a short time it reaches high net outputs. ▶ Primera C130: Automatic synchronization With this model, feeder and gathering chain are automatically synchronized. Before the start of production the optimum coupling position of the feeders are calculated via the sizes entered. They are automatically engaged in the calculated position and in the preset timing ratio via a pneumatic coupling. ▶ Process integration thanks to digital workflow following CIP-4 standard The Primera 130 saddle stitcher is JDF/JMF-enabled and it can be integrated into the digital workflow with the Muller Martini workflow system, Connex. In this way the direct, reciprocal communication between the company management information system (MIS) and the finishing is guaranteed. Important key data such as job status, machine condition, production speed or current gross and net produce are exchanged. ▶ Flexible and secure processing of signatures The reliable feeders guide the signatures extremely efficiently due to the four gripper principle and are quickly ready via the set-up wizard. They’re mounted on a solid, vibration reduced universal base, can be arranged in any order and are movable within a very short time. The flat pile feeder processes all signature types with low folio, high folio and without lap. ▶ Automatic Signature Image Recognition (ASIR) Before the stitching, ASIR system on each 6 feeders and 1 cover feeder can recognize any errors on signature through scanning the signature’s image with high performance camera. Since it works in-line concept, the work process doesn’t have any interruption by this inspection and the production with ASIR can reduce any errors on products very efficiently. Eventually, the products quality can be increased remarkably. ▶ Precise stitching The stitching machine of the Primera 130 is very compact in its form. Thanks to large visible doors the stitcher is ergonomically operated and easily accessible. The changeover of the newly developed Q-stitching heads is very short and the stitching wire can be set up very quickly. The stitching system ensures a constant and first class stitching regardless of the speed. |
